Dimension Data, world specialist in services and solutions with a global presence and sales of $5.8 billion, announced the acquisition of the American company Xigo, leading provider of management of expenditure on telecommunications (telecommunications expense management – TEM).
In addition to speed up services from Dimension Data strategy, this acquisition increases the ability of Dimension Data offer greater value to the customer in a transversal manner across the enterprise, with an integrated solution of optimization of cost, useful for analysis of costs, supply, supply and processing of invoices.
Dimension Data will focus immediately on increasing the market share of Xigo in United States and in the needs of multinational organizations. Over time, the service will be extended to other countries within the Group Dimension Data.

Spofford will continue at the head of Xigo, reporting on the operations of the company to the CEO of Dimension Data Americas, Jere Brown; and on the strategy to Steve Joubert. The transaction became effective on 18 January and the financial terms were not released.
