Toyota Spain renews the certification standard internationally recognized environmental management • the number of dealers of the Toyota network with certificate of environmental management system increases by up to 86%. Madrid – Bureau Veritas Certification has been renewed ISO 14001 certification at Toyota Spain S.L.U. to its network of dealers and workshops. It’s a re-certification Toyota Spain S.L.U. was already certified in ISO 14001 previously.
This renewal confirms commitment to continuous improvement Toyota Spain with respect to the management of resources, waste, discharges and emissions of the Spain Toyota dealer’s network, as well as the environmental parameters centrally managed through Gaia-TOYOTA computer application.
With the renewal of this certificate have been incorporated 3 new concessionaires that encompass 6 centres of the network, so the total number of certified dealers increases to 67, and represents 86% of the total of the official network of dealers of Toyota in Spain. Toyota Spain aims to have 100% of the dealers Network certified in the near future.
This certification, only standard internationally recognized for environmental management, is for Toyota Spain S.L.U. recognition to his great effort in this area. ISO 14001 is part of a series of international environmental management standards applicable to any organization. Based on the cycle of plan – do – check – Act, ISO 14001, in addition, specify the most important requirements to identify and control the environmental aspects of any organization.
