Aprendum be billed more than 1 million euro in 2013

The platform, specializing in training courses online and distance, has reached in its year of operation the 120,000 page views a month, more than 200 courses in catalog, more than 80 courses providers and revenues approximate €40,000 per month in January 2013, of which 13% from Latam. It has a presence in Spain, Mexico, Colombia and Peru. The company is preparing a new round of funding for its expansion in Chile, Argentina and Brazil scheduled for February. Aprendum, the vertical marketplace specializing in online/distance courses, aims to make available to users a formation of quality at the best possible price.

According to Juan Salcedo, founder of Aprendum, the platform is revolutionizing the world of training because it offers the user a wide range of topics ranging from languages, marketing and financial aspects. “Now there is no excuse to be recycled or recovered, since we make quality training more accessible than ever. No schedules or displacement. The user decides your rate and has the best offer 365 days of the year in a wide variety of courses.”

The platform, after receiving initial funding of 150,000 euros by various Business Angel and ENISA, and has presence in Spain, Mexico, Colombia and Peru, is finalizing a new round to open market in Latin American countries in which still has no presence, such as Chile, Argentina and Brazil.

Aprendum, also just to be selected as one of the finalists, among the 320 projects presented, the “I call to reverse and accelerate innovative base technology, educational and/or Cultural projects” of the International University of the Rioja (UNIR) launched its initiative to join undertakes.
